Basic Assembly Video

The Kessler KC-Lite 8.0 is a high quality crane at an affordable price. For the filmmaker shooting on a tight budget, using a lighter digital video or DSLR camera under 10 pounds, the KC-Lite is the highest quality camera crane in the sub $400 price range.

Lightweight and Durable
Based off the design of our standard dual-rail KC series of camera cranes, the KC-Lite is a 100% tool-less, single rail crane that is light-weight and portable, yet has the heft where it counts like the 3/8"" thick ultra rigid mounting plate.

Perfect for DSLR
For rigs under 10 lbs, there isn't a better crane for the money. Filmmakers often have to sacrifice quality for quantity when building their gear arsenal, the KC-Lite elimates that concern by providing an excellent jib solution at an economy price.

Fluid Drag
Unlike other cranes in this price range the KC-Lite mounts to your fluid head in a way that utilizes the fluid drag of the head's pan and tilt giving the best control and fluid like movements in all 3 modes of crane operation (manual tilt, fixed-angle mode, & automatic mode).

Lifetime Warranty
Backed by our manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty, we guarantee that it is free from defects in material and workmanship, otherwise we'll fix it.

As advertised… And then someReview by Stephen Tyler
You know the old axiom about fraud, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is? This reliable wisdom bounced around my head as I contemplated – – obsessed, really – – about the company's claims of a professional quality camera crane for less than $400. Let me save you similar obsession, and let Kessler save you money – – the KC-Lite 8.0 is everything it's advertised to be. I even splurged and purchased the 5.5 ft short tip, the vertical brake, the ultra clamp (for a monitor), and the soft case, which I'm not positive but I think might've come with the package. all-inclusive, including shipping, for less than 700 bucks. I figured, at that sum what have I got to lose? I was surprised and pleased beyond expectations. Bravo, Kessler!

Great Little Crane!Review by Bill
Rented one for a 4 camera shoot and it made the day! Easy to use and assemble. Had the assistant operating it after 5 minutes. Used mainly with a 5D. Buying one now! Can't live without!
Best purchase ever!Review by Alex Murray
I bought the KC Light to use for my Canon 60D. I'm a film student at Ohio University, and use this product in almost all of my projects. It's quite compact given it's extendability. I actually filmed a project in Tecate, Mexico and was able to fit the Crane in a hard case golf bag and check it as baggage. It's very portable. Unfortunately, me being a student, I couldn't afford to get the right tripod, so I ended up drilling some holes in another tripod shoe to fit the tripod I own now. The crane, even without it's native tripod, makes flawless movements. Great product by Kessler, I'll definitely come back for more.
